The Management Council 2021-2023 line-up lead by newly appointed Chairman for Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) Datuk John Choo during the centre’s 21st Annual General Meeting on 14 December 2021. Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau, has retired from his post after 12 years of serving as SSTC’s Chairman.
Tuan Haji Sumardi voted as the new Deputy Chairman, while 5 Council Members, Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd, Steel Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, K.K.I.P. Sdn Bhd, Angkatan Hebat Sdn Bhd, and Nippon Paint (Sabah) Sdn Bhd.
The meeting was attended by 20 companies consisting of SSTC Founder and Ordinary Members, and ex-officios from Government Agencies. Election was held this year to elect the new line-up for SSTC Management Council Members for Year 2021 – 2023.
SSTC also presented the Star Supporter Award to recognize member companies that demonstrated the most support in workforce Corporate Training in 2020. Gold Star Supporter was presented to Kimanis Power Sdn Bhd, followed by Silver Star Supporter to Ranhill Powertron Sdn Bhd and Bronze Star Supporter to MyGaz Sdn Bhd.
