Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) held its 20th Annual General Meeting at the centre on 3rd September 2020.
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the AGM this year was attended only by invitation and limited audience.
Chairman, Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau welcomed all members attending the AGM. “Everything came to a standstill with Covid-19 sweeping through the world. A time of reflection and rationalization took place and yet, our positivity remains as we are already embarking into technology-based training. Now the speed of executing these available technologies must be doubled”. He hopes the year 2020 would be, to adopt thoughtful technology that serves our corporate and community best with minimal impact on our environment. We now have to learn new things in new ways for the new world forward.
A multimedia to recapture 2019 activities was presented during the AGM. SSTC also highlighted the Star Supporter Achievers to recognize companies who have sent the most number of participants to attend corporate trainings in 2019. Gold Star supporter was presented to Sabah International Dairies Sdn Bhd, Silver Star Supporter to Desa Integrated Food Industries Sdn Bhd and Kimanis Power Sdn Bhd, and Bronze Star Supporter to Ken Chong Food Industries Sdn Bhd.
The AGM was attended by representatives from 21 companies, SSTC Ex-Officios, Treasurer and Auditors.
