Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) held its 17th Annual General Meeting at Grandis Hotels & Resort on 14th June 2017.
The new line-up for 2017-2019 term announced Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau (Concept Marketing Sdn Bhd) as Chairman and Datuk John Choo (Ken Chong Food Industry Sdn Bhd) as Deputy Chairman both uncontested. Permanent Advisor for SSTC is Dr. Kok Tiong Chee (Unimekar Sdn Bhd).
The Council Members includes Dato’ Hj Harun Ismail (Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd), Ir. Melvin Disimond (KKIP Sdn Bhd), Mr. Lee Eng Seong (Steel Industries (S) Sdn Bhd), Encik Bahrul Rahza bin Chuprat (Cement Industries (S) Sdn Bhd), Mr Daniel Lee (Shell Timur Sdn Bhd). While the ex-officios (existing) are Ministry of Resource Development & Information Technology, Ministry of Industrial Development), State Economic Planning Unit, Sabah Economic Development Corporation, Ministry of Finance, and SME Corporation Malaysia.
For the first time this year, SSTC recognized companies who have sent the most number of participants to attend corporate trainings in 2016. The Gold Star Supporter was presented to Sabah International Dairies Sdn Bhd and Silver Start Supporter to Sepangar Chemical Industry Sdn Bhd.
After the fruitful meeting, all attendees were invited for “Buka Puasa” Dinner at Rosea Café.
