The MyReskill IoT program by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) is aimed to attain higher productivity level through the adoption of technology among industry players. This 3-days program consist of physical (2-days) and hand-holding (1-day) training in developing Proof-of-Concept (POC) was conducted at Sabah Skills & Technology Centre on 15-17 February 2022.
Throughout the class, participants learned about the Raspberry Pi and Arduino hardware. Data gathered from the connected sensors was displayed using Node-RED to enable visualisation and remote monitoring.
MyReskill IoT program encourages and support the upskilling and reskilling of the current workforce to meet the current and future needs of the industry. Amongst the objectives of this training are, to assist companies in the adoption of Industry 4.0 among the local industries, to train the Industry IoT knowledge and skill-set for the non-coding workforce so that they can remain relevant in the job market; and to support, coach, prepare and enable 5,000 participating companies to carry out IoT project within their companies.
The program was attended by 14 participants from 12 companies from Manufacturing, Food & Beverages, Logistics, Schedule Waste Management, Farm, and Maintenance Engineering Services sectors.
The Closing and Certificate Presentation ceremony was graced by Tuan Mokhzani Aris Mohd Yusoff, Director, Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Sabah Region.
