Drone flying is no longer a hobby. It is one of the most convenient technology kit that is able to generate lucrative revenue, through various avenues, for an employee as well as for the business owners.
Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) in partnership with SG Education Group and Asia Drone IoT Technologies conducted a 1-day introduction session on 25th July 2018 at SSTC premise. An overwhelming 106 participants attended the program for beginners with interest to venture into drone economy as an employee or entrepreneur and drone flyers who intend to enhance their skills.
It was intended to provide to the target audience to embark their journey in the Drone Economy. Drones are vigorously taking over pertinent roles in industries such as precision agriculture, oil and gas, construction and warehouse management as well as infrastructure management.
The session was also a good start up to position the participant comfortably in this Digital Era in order to avoid being replaced by a machine in the future. Skilling and up-skilling to match the contemporary needs of the Digital Era is crucial to continuously stay relevant to the organisation and industry.
