Blood Donation Drive 2020#1

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) has once again collaborated with the Department of Transfusion Medicine of Hospital Queen Elizabeth II for a blood donation campaign on January 22.

SSTC has always been honoured to contribute to the society, regardless of the donation being a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Despite having  tight schedules, the staff and trainees within the facilities managed to show up and perform their duty as a responsible individual, making the blood donation a success since its first campaign in 2006.

The blood donation consisted of regular and first-timer donors. A person can donate their blood up to four times per year, but not many people are aware of the importance of blood donation, therefore leading to the frequent shortage of blood supplies.
