13th Sabah Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE)

We were pleased to attend the 13th Sabah Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE 2026), held under the theme “Fueling the Future: Driving Energy Innovation for Sustainable Growth.”

During the event, we attended a program slot organized by North Borneo University College titled “Zero Harm, High Demand: Careers in Occupational Safety & Health.” We were proud to see one of SSTC’s Safety and Health Officer (SHO) program alumna, Christyne Sirundai Moosom featured as a speaker in the session, now contributing her expertise as part of the Shell team here in Sabah. We also had the pleasure of meeting her colleague, Desire who is also an alumna of the same program.

Following the session, we visited the exhibition booths, where we explored the latest developments in the oil & gas and energy industry. The exhibition provided valuable insights into emerging technologies and innovations shaping the sector’s future, as well as meaningful networking opportunities with industry professionals.

We look forward to continuing our engagement with industry partners and fostering meaningful collaborations that support workforce development and innovation.
