Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) and Bayam Enterprise Sdn Bhd (BESB) are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 21st February 2023. The signing ceremony that took place at SSTC marks an important milestone in the collaboration between the two organizations.
The MoU aims to strengthen the existing partnership between SSTC and BESB and outlines their shared commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of local talents in Offshore Catering and Hospitality. Additionally, the Offshore Medic program will be introduced into the partnership. The collaboration also seeks to promote the growth of the oil and gas industry in Sabah by providing quality training and education for the workforce.
The signing of the MoU was attended by representatives from both parties, including Madam Natalie Fung, Director of SSTC, and Mr. Azman Ismail, Executive Chairman of BESB. Other attendees were Datuk John Choo (Chairman, SSTC), Tuan Hj Sumardi (Deputy Chairman, SSTC), Puan Dayang Kamariah (Council Member, SSTC), Ms. Anita Dhawan (Treasurer, SSTC), Dato Paduka Ts. Udani bin Dato’Seri Mohamed Daud (CEO, Max Energy Sdn Bhd) and Ms. Devyne Koh (Manager, SSTC).
BESB and Max Energy Sdn Bhd also handed over their Ordinary Membership application to SSTC.
Bayam Enterprise Sdn Bhd is a renowned provider of ground handling support and petroleum products in Kelantan and Terengganu. The company has expanded its business over time, earning several awards from clients for its quality services and performance requirements. The partnership with SSTC will enable BESB to share its expertise and knowledge with local talents, providing them with the necessary skills to contribute to the growth of the oil and gas industry.
