10 March 2023 – The visit by the esteemed minister and his delegation was a momentous occasion for SSTC, as it marked the first time that YB Datuk Dr. Haji Mohd. Arifin Bin Arif, JP, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation had visited the centre. During the visit, the minister and his delegation were given a tour of the SSTC’s facilities, which included classrooms, laboratories, and workshops.
SSTC staff were also able to share some of the innovative programs and initiatives that the centre has been implementing to keep pace with rapid technological advances. These initiatives included partnerships with industry leaders to provide students with real-world experience and training.
The visit was also an opportunity for the minister and his delegation to discuss the government’s priorities and initiatives related to science, technology, and innovation, and how the SSTC can contribute to these efforts. The minister was impressed with the centre’s commitment to equipping its trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving job market, and praised the staff and trainees for their dedication and hard work.
Overall, the visit was a great success and will no doubt inspire the staff and students of the SSTC to continue their important work.
