Every batch of Culinary Arts trainees in SSTC will organize a Restaurant Challenge, an event where the trainees will cook, serve and sell to the public.
Culinary Arts Batch 19 organized a 4-days Restaurant Challenge from 25th – 28th April 2017 themed ‘Old Skool Café’. They served a variety of food such as Bakso, Nasi Lemak, Wan Tan Hor, Banana Fritters with Cheese, and drinks. The money collected from the event will be used for their class leisure activities.
This event was organized to sharpen the trainees’ skills in many areas not just cooking, but to improve their planning in marketing, customer service, and budgeting.
