Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) recently held a Hari Raya Open House for its staff and trainees, organised by the MICE Planning and Marketing Management batch 1 trainees.

“The objective of the event was to celebrate the festive season together” said The Organising Chairperson, Malvin Kepong. He also thanked the support of SSTC staffs, fellow trainers, attendees from other programs (Retail Management, Safety & Health, and Plantation Management, Culinary Arts) and his organising team on making the event a success. Director of SSTC, Madam Natalie Fung said she was proud of the MICE trainees’ initiative to take up the challenge of organising the event as part of their training ground under their trainers’ supervision. The event garners an attendance of around 200 people. Various activities were planned and the response was overwhelming.
SSTC is Sabah’s very own skills development centre located in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP). Its aim is to provide training and educational programs to enhance the skills level of our state’s workforce and also to provide skills among unemployed youth and thus place them in the respective industry. Currently the areas of training provided are in Event Management, Retail Management, Safety & Health Officer, Plantation Management, Culinary Arts and many more. SSTC also provides corporate and industry specific training throughout Sabah.
